Snowbird Hut
Description
The Snowbird Hut is beautifully situated in the Talkeetna Mountains on the northern edge of the Snowbird Glacier.
You would never believe that minutes before this photo the clouds had reduced visibility to only a few feet. We were pondering if we would be stranded at this hut for the rest of the morning when the clouds finally broke and we had unbelievable views of the glacier and mountain peaks around.
